Family History

For those of you who are interested in researching your Willoughby Family Roots.

 

• I have copies of the Willoughby Census for:1841-1851-1861-1871-1881-1891-1901 - 1911

• A list of all Marriages at St Nicholas Church Willoughby during the period 1725- 1837.

• 15 years experience, researching my own Family History.

• I have a substantial Family tree (3,500 people) that includes many of the old Willoughby Families.

• I have traced the Family of my Paternal Gt Grandmother Sarah Reynish back to 1546

• And am World wide Co-ordinator for a Group called the 'Reynish Family Project'

 

My Mother was a member of the Hancock Family from Willoughby, The Hancocks came to Willoughby from Everdon and there were Hancocks in Willoughby from 1798 to the mid 1960's.

 

Researching your Family History can easily become an obsession, It can also become quite expensive. I am a member of Ancestry, which cost about £170. a year,(£3.25 a week) but considering all the records available and the help you can get from other members it's really not so bad.
