Village Pond Early days,before the conversion of Farm Buildings and the Bungalows in Brookes Close	1976 The Village pond dried up completely in the Summer of 1976	1984 Note the water level in relation to the road and the dead branches in the middle of the Pond.
October 2009 Work begins to Dredge the pond and remove the silt that has built up over many years.	October 2009 You can see the extent of the problem by the ammount of silt covering the tracks of the digger	October 2009 A Small island was constructed in the center of the pond.
October 2009 The removed silt was spread on the small paddock at the back of the pond	October 2009 Job almost complete	November 2009 The Dredging is complete and the pond is starting to refill.
November 2009 Ducks & Moorhens are begining to return to the pond.	December 2009 Water level almost back to normal	January 2010 A cool morning in January. With Ducks walking on water
